Changing Windows Server 2003 Administrator Password Print

It’s very easy to change Windows Server 2003 Administrator password if you have physical access to the server, you’ll need to press ctrl + alt + del and you’ll get some option buttons such as Lock Computer, Log Off, Shut Down, etc. on that window, click on Change Password to change your Administrator password (user that currently logged in, so you must log in as Administrator before you can change its password).

If you didn’t have physical access or you accessing the server via Remote Desktop, as you can’t do ctrl + alt + del (because it will go to your local PC’s Windows Security and not the server’s Windows Security), you can change the Administrator password by clicking on Start > Windows Security and then click on Change Password.

You’ll have to supply the old password and the new password twice and click OK to make the changes.
